If your business is based in Hull or the East Riding, a local revenue grant could potentially pay up to 50% of what you spend with us on marketing support. Here’s what this marketing grant covers, who can apply, and how to go about it.
Revenue grants are available through the HEY Growth Hub, Invest East Yorkshire or Invest Hull to help local small businesses grow, and they can go towards marketing advice. “Revenue” just means the money goes on things you pay for as you go, like advice and marketing, rather than equipment or buildings.
If approved, the grant could pay up to half. You pay the rest.
The most the grant will pay towards a project.
For eligible businesses based in Hull or the East Riding of Yorkshire.
Here’s how the grant could work out on both of our services. These are examples only. We’ll work out the real numbers for your business with you.
A plan built together, an hour with us every month, a quarterly review at your place and WhatsApp whenever you’re stuck.
A full audit, a 12-month marketing plan and the foundations fixed. Every project is scoped and priced around your business, so this is an example cost only, based on a project of around 47 hours.
The grant funding comes from the HEY Growth Hub, Invest East Yorkshire or Invest Hull, not from us, so you apply to them. We’ll give you what you need to do it.
Fill in the short form below. We’ll work out what you need and whether the grant looks like a good fit.
We send a written quote and a clear outline of the work, which is what you’ll need for your application.
Get in touch with the HEY Growth Hub, Invest East Yorkshire or Invest Hull (details below). They’ll check you’re eligible and take you through it.
Once your grant is approved, we agree a start date and get going.

A revenue grant is funding towards things you pay for as you go to grow your business, such as specialist advice and consultancy, rather than equipment or buildings. In Hull and East Yorkshire, revenue grants can cover up to 50% of the eligible cost of a project, up to a maximum of £2,500.
It can. The revenue grants available in Hull and the East Riding can go towards external specialist consultancy advice, which includes working with a marketing consultant like FairHall. Whoever you apply through decides whether your project qualifies.
No. Whoever you apply through decides who gets funding and how much, and the pot is limited, so schemes can close. We'll be honest on the call about whether it looks worth applying.
Up to 50% of the eligible cost of the project. The most you can get is £2,500, so on bigger projects the grant covers less than half.
Check with them first. Grant schemes often won't pay for costs you've committed to before approval, so we'll agree a start date once you have their decision.
Ask whoever you apply through. If you're VAT-registered you can usually reclaim the VAT anyway, but they'll confirm what counts towards the grant.
Not that we're pointing people to right now. If that changes, we'll add it here.
Grant details last checked October 2026. Schemes can change or close, so the HEY Growth Hub, Invest East Yorkshire and Invest Hull have the final word.
Tell us a little about your business and we’ll get back to you within a working day. We’ll tell you honestly whether the grant looks worth applying for, and which of our services would fit.
